Sue BROWN is researching descendants of Ann GIBBONS through her son Benjamin BAKER through his daughter Charlotte and grandson Henry Benjamin JARVIS

Judy BOWLES is researching the BRITCHER Family descendants of Ann GIBBONS through her son Benjamin BAKER through his daughter Charlotte and grandaughter Elizabeth Selina JARVIS

Delores WOODHOUSE [nee JARVIS]  is a great, great, grandaughter of Henry Kingsnorth JARVIS and Selina MACKINDER.  Through their son Alfred Ernest JARVIS and  his first wife Emma Matilda HADLEY and their grandson Arthur John JARVIS and wife Emma Louisa Sophia WICKES.

Malcolm CRAM is researching the descendants of Ann GIBBONS through her son Benjamin BAKER through his daughter Emma BAKER.

Jenny HODGES, Grant WOODBRIDGE, are researching descendants of Ann GIBBONS and Abraham WHITAKER through their daughter Elizabeth who married Robert WOODBRIDGE

Cathy Lysaught is a decendant of Elizabeth WHITTAKER and Robert WOODBRIDGE - through their son George. She has a photo of Elizabeth and Roberts gravestone.

Michael WOODBRIDGE Is a descendant of  Elizabeth WOODBRIDGE, through her son Alfred WOODBRIDGE (Michael's great grandfather) He tells me that she infact died not many months after Alfred was born.

Meg NICOLSON and Bryan & Annette TRETHEWEY are researching the BURSILL line descendants of Ann GIBBONS and Joseph SMITH through their daugher Hannah SMITH.

Michelle RYAN is researching descendants of Ann GIBBONS and Joseph SMITH through their son Thomas who married Elizabeth Edith JONES.

 John GILMORE is researching descendants of George William JARVIS and Mary Jane Charlotte CARTER through their daughter Florence Evelyn May JARVIS who is/was his maternal grandmother. He has considerable info on her descendants and less on her siblings.

Joan LYNCH is researching all of Ann' descendants and interested in hearing from all fellow researchers. She also mentioned June Braby of Albany who was also an early researcher into William Bursill. Joan has a copy of William's parents letter. She found it in the State Library years ago

Robyn FLEMING brings a totally new line to our research. She is the descendant of Elizabeth LEE through an illegitimate son she had with Robert HOWE. The son was also christened Robert Howe but known as Charles Robert Howe. b 11 Jan 1820. Apparently Elizabeth had him for a few years but he was then brought up by his father. She is not actually a descendant of Ann Gibbons but I had nowhere else to put her. Hope you don/t mind her being here and hope she doesn't mind. I will however take her off the all Ann Gibbons list.

MEURANT Researchers

Katie GRIFFIN (nee MEURANT) is the 3x great grand daughter of Ferdinand MEURANT and would like to find out more about her ancestors.

Doug LAIDLAW'S wife is descended from John STINSONand Emma MEURANT through their daughter Emma Elvira.
He has a copy of a photo of Rose MARTIN, and a reproduction of a Government Gazette notice, not actually granting Ferdinand his pardon, but advising that he, among others, could collect the grant. He also has a photo of John and Emma's children, but they are identified only by their first names.

Judie MOORE'S connection is through William BEST who married Juliet Charlotte MEURANT If you are interested in the BEST family please let me know and I will send you the details.
Judie was from the land down-under but now living in Maine, USA. She has a web page up so take a look.

Eveon MAFRICI is researching MEURANT lines via Elvira MEURANT and William PIKE. She has considerable information on the PIKE family.

John BRIGHT is researching the NZ wing of the MEURANTS, along with the NSW branches, including one of the NZ children of Edward. he notes that Edward MEURANT, NZ sealer and Maori Interpreter, died 01 Nov 1851 aged 49. He has a copy of the Will/Probate, and he can still only assume (he hates doing that) that Edward MEURANT is the William Edward MEURANT born in Sydney NSW on the 17 Dec 1803. He have listed 4 children of his.

SIMPSON and McGARRITTY Reseachers

Jean SIMPSON contacted me by mail and is interested in descendants of Robert SIMPSON and Maria McGARRITTY (McGARRITY). Her husband is a descendant through Edward SIMPSON and Elizabeth MORRISON. CORNER, BATHGATE, PENDER and GATES Researchers

Janine HUMPHREY is researching the GATES connections and is also interested in CORNER

Sue BROWN is researching ancestors and descendants of William CORNER and all descendants. This includes BATHGATE and STEWART mainly in the Hunter Valley NSW Australia but also Scotland and England.

Bob CHRISMAS is researching from George TAYHURN and Agnes BATHGATE, which for him leads onto the Chrismas (or Christmas) families. Our Chrismas family comes from the U.K., Hastings area, and the name was originally spelled with the "t".

Bob PENDER is researching ancestors and descendants of the PENDER family and related families mainly in the Hunter Valley NSW Australia but also Scotland.

Stella & Peter HARPLEY are researching descendants of William CORNER in England through his son John CORNER.

David HACKET is researching the CORNER surname in England.

Elizabeth MCLEOD is researching the PENDER name in Scotland and Australia

BOWERS and TORRANCE Researchers

Sue BROWN is researching ancestors and descendants of James Huddy BOWERS. In Australia but also Scotland and England.

I am also researching the Torrance name in London Particularly the family of John and Susan TORRANCE who had at least 1 daughter Agnes Maria born 1827 in London baptised St Marylebone in 1832. John was a coachman.

TORRANCE web site and mailing list was no longer at the address when I checked 26/4/04.
 KINGSNORTH Researchers

There is now an "official" KINGSNORTH family history page. It is new and will grow. It is being put together by the gentlemen who have done up the huge family tree for the Kent lines of the KINGSNORTH family. So if you fit in please send your information to them. OR have a look and see if they have some information to help you tie your lines together.
