From the Menu bar, select EDIT and then PREFERENCES.

A window should open similar to the following image. This section is where you set your Netscape Preferences.

Navigator Preferernces

These are some of the basic preferences for Netscape

Navigator Starts With: Enter your name as you want it to appear besides your outgoing email maessages
Email address: Enter your email address exactly as shown on your Nornet registration letter
Reply-to address: Enter your email address in here as well
Organisation: Enter your business name for example

Advanced - Proxy Settings

While you are still in this Preferences window, in the left-hand column click onto the small + next to Advanced, and then click onto Proxies (see the following image)

Nornet is running a 'Transparent Proxy', therefore you do not need to configure any Proxy settings here. Ensure that there is a dot in Direct connection to the Internet.

Click the OK button to close the Preferences window.
