SEN Australia Inc. is part of an international network that was founded by Christina Grof in 1980.  The term 'spiritual emergence' was first coined by Dr Stanislav and Christina Grof, both therapists and researchers in the field of personal transformation.

The Network was established in Sydney in 1986.  In 1998 the coordinating centre was moved to Lismore, in northern N.S.W. (Australia) where support and enthusiasm is strong and growing.

SEN Australia Inc. is a voluntary, non-profit organization existing solely on memberships and donations.  One of our main aims is to educate both health professionals and the general public about the phenomenon of Spiritual Emergence.

To this end we publish our journal 'Emergence' three times a year.  It features personal accounts, perspectives on spiritual emergency, suggestions for supporting the process and book reviews.  Discussion groups and support groups are offered in some areas.  Eventually we will establish a live-in centre to support people in the intense stages of this process and to train carers.

The annual membership fees enable us to continue this important work.  It also entitles you to 3 consecutive copies of the journal.  If you wish to become a member please write to us with your address and contact details enclosing a cheque for $30 (waged), $20 (unwaged).
