WICEN is always looking for members to provide the community with communications assistance.also is involved in providing assistance to the local emergency services in time of need. Our members are involved in Northern Rivers WICEN and the Red Cross as well as other community organisations and social events providing the community with essential communications when needed.

Do you use your radio to help the community?
Amateur Radio has the largest frequency block allocation outside the armed services. The sole reason for this was the perceived availability of this service in case of emergencies.
Justify this (now at risk) allocation by making your services available. Join WICEN. Be available to help, be protected if you are called. The need does not arise very often but if it does, be prepared.
