Our Thoughts and Writings

Am I the only one?

Am I the only one who thinks about becoming a mother all the time?
Am I the only one who constantly runs a list of potential names through my head?
Am I the only one who after day 10 of my cycle:
stops doing sit ups at the gym?
stops drinking coffee?
stops going to tanning appointments?
stops cleaning the litter box?
obviously avoids smokers at all costs?
Am I the only one who drinks orange juice like it’s going out of style?
Am I the only one who looks at every body change like it’s a sign of pregnancy?
every hot room is a hot flash...
every gas pain is a cramp...
getting up quickly used to be a head rush, now it’s nausea or dizziness...
no signs is also a sign...
Am I the only one who can’t read an ovulation test if my life depended on it?
Am I the only one who can’t remember to take my temperature before I get out of bed?
Am I the only one whose boss thinks she has a terminal illness from all the time of I’ve taken off for appointments?
Am I the only one who comes dangerously close to buying adorable children’s clothes?
Am I the only one who actually bought a Dr. Suess book?
Am I the only one that will slap the next person that says “Don’t worry, it will happen”?
Am I the only one who’s scared?
Am I the only one who should buy stock in home pregnancy tests?
Am I the only one who looks at children like kids look at candy?
Am I the only one that can cry at the drop of a hat from the onset of my period to any possible conception?

Am I the only one, Or am I just nuts....
