The following information has been collated to assist Australian Infertility Support Group and AISG-grads members with common technical and membership problems. Please read the FAQ's below and if you don't find the answer you need, contact Diana directly.

Mailing List Etiquette

Sending INTRO's

When a new member joins the Australian Infertility Support Group Mailing List you will be asked to send your INTRO to that new person. This serves several purposes: to introduce yourself to that new member, to welcome the new member into the group, and to enable members to provide support to each other.

Subject Topic Warnings

Australian Infertility Support Group members must warn other members of sensitive topics like babies and pregnancy in the subject topic. ie babies, children, or PG mentioned. This way, if a particular member is not up to reading sensitive posts, he/she can skip that post or read it at some other time.

Sending large files & pictures to the Mailing List

The mailing list manager is configured not to be able to process large files. Please do not attempt to send large pictures or programs because internet servers can be volatile and have the tendency to "crash", thereby rendering us "group-less" for several days or more until the problem is fixed.

If you do have a picture or program that you think may be of interest to the group, please let the group know first and send it only to those members requesting a copy. Or if you prefer, you can send the picture or program to Diana to put it on the AISG website. In this way, whoever is interested can access it.

Trouble-Shooting & Other questions answered

New email address

If your email address has changed or will change soon, you will need to do two things:

1. Notify Diana of your new email address and the date it will take effect. Diana will make the necessary changes in the mailing list(s) for you.
2. On the date your new email address takes effect, notify the members in the mailing lists(s) of your new address.

Unsubscribing from the mailing lists

To unsubscribe from the Australian Infertility Support Group, or Australian Infertility Support Group Grads,  send an email to: aisg@nor.com.au saying that you would like to unsubscribe.

If you are not recieving messages after you have recieved the welcome message please email Diana on kendi@nor.com.au and inform her of your correct email address.
